The problem

You've already tried. It never really stuck

Duolingo, YouTube videos, maybe even a group class at some point. You have the willpower, but none of it ever turned into a real conversation. After two weeks, motivation fades. The same words come back, you still don't know what to say to a French speaker, and that little discomfort — the fear of mispronouncing, of looking ridiculous — never really goes away.

It's not a discipline problem. It's a method problem.

The real problem

Apps and generic classes never listen to where you actually are

An app moves you through ITS program, not yours. A school-style group class moves at the class's pace — too fast for some, too slow for others. Result: you spend time on things you already know, and never enough time on what's actually holding you back.

The method

A method built on your real level, not a fixed plan

From the first session, Najia precisely assesses where you are — not with a generic test, but with a mini role-play that reveals your strengths and your real gaps. The following sessions are built entirely around this diagnostic, never around a standard program.

  • Session 1: real level assessment + mini role-play to pinpoint what's actually holding you back

  • Following sessions: content 100% adapted to your gaps and your goal — never content you already master

  • Every session focuses on real spoken practice, not theory you could read on your own

Who is Najia

The coach behind the method

Najia is a trained nurse and French speaker who has lived through the fear of not feeling legitimate in a language — for her, it was English when she arrived in Canada. She knows exactly what it feels like to freeze up in front of a simple sentence, out of fear of judgment.

She passed, herself, the exam she now prepares her students for: the TCF Canada. Her rates remain well below university programs like McGill or the Université de Montréal — without compromising on one-on-one support.

✅ This is for you if

  • You're a beginner or false-beginner in French

  • You want to progress steadily, without rushing

  • You're ready to practice speaking out loud, even while making mistakes

  • You want a plan adapted to you, not a generic program

❌ This isn't for you if

  • You're looking for a classic school-style group class

  • You're not ready to speak out loud yet

  • You only want theoretical grammar, without spoken practice

Frequently asked questions

What you might still be wondering

12 weeks is long. Why not something shorter?

A pace of 2h/week over 12 weeks allows for real, lasting progress without overload — enough time to solidly anchor the basics, unlike a quick format that's forgotten just as fast.

$607 is a budget. Why this price?

This is back-to-school pricing, for a limited time. Unlike a $10/month app, you get real one-on-one support over 24 hours, with a real person who listens and adjusts every session to you.

I don't have much time for homework.

There's no expectation of heavy homework hours. The exercises between sessions are short and targeted, designed for working adults with busy lives.

I've already tried to learn French and gave up.

That's exactly why the initial diagnostic exists: it avoids repeating what didn't work last time. The content is built around you, not around a standard program you may have already tried.

I'm a true complete beginner. Is this right for me?

Yes — the first session's diagnostic adapts to any starting point, including zero prior knowledge.

Why Najia instead of a generic teacher?

Because she has lived, herself, the experience of rebuilding her legitimacy in a new language, and because her method is diagnostic-first rather than based on a fixed textbook — two things rare with a generic teacher.

Ready to get started?

By the end of the program, you'll be able to introduce yourself, talk about your daily life, and ask simple questions in French — without freezing up from fear.
